Stathis was born in Kyriaki, a village near Delphi.

He completed Athenaeum and moved to Athens. There, he worked primarily in the hospitality industry and even owned his own restaurant.

Since 1998, he has resided in the Netherlands with his wife and three children.

After spending some time in the Netherlands, he decided it would be wonderful to share his knowledge of the Greek language and culture with the Dutch. He began teaching his coworkers.

He experimented with several teaching approaches before settling on a straightforward Greek book, which he translated into Dutch. He also composed his own grammar book.

Stathis has been teaching for over 15 years now and the experience has taught him how to convey his knowledge of the Greek language and culture in a creative yet well-constructed way.
