Learning Dutch: tips & tricks from a student

Today we talk to Francesc Martin, from Peru, who took a Dutch course at Instituut Jeroen Bosch.

Personal experience
“The course was very interesting. When I started I was an absolute beginner, but I quickly managed to make sentences and tell short stories in Dutch.

I found learning to conjugate and understanding the grammatical rules very important. Thanks to the one-on-one lessons, I was able to learn at my own pace, ask for extra explanations when needed and eventually reach my goal.”

The individual lessons combined with the practical exercises helped Francesc learn Dutch efficiently and quickly.

Advice and language learning
“I think Instituut Jeroen Bosch is a good choice for foreigners who want to learn Dutch.
I would also say that it is never too late to learn a new language. You just have to have the right motivation. I am 59 years old and I succeeded!”
